Margaret Park, CFA, CAIA, is a business manager for Systematic Fixed Income and Index Fixed Income within BlackRock's Portfolio Management Group. She is responsible for business strategy, investment process and business operations for hedge fund, long-only active, iShares and Institutional Index portfolios.
Prior to her current role, she was a member of the Product Engineering team with US ETF and Index Investments. She was responsible for new product design and development, platform innovation, and performance oversight of exchange-traded fixed income products in the U.S. Earlier in her career, Ms. Park was a portfolio manager for Boston Private Bank and Trust Company where she was responsible for managing assets in line with trust specifications, often with unique tax and real estate considerations. She has significant experience meeting with new and prospective clients to discuss markets, portfolio performance and investment proposals. Additionally, she has derivative sales and trading roles at Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank.
Ms. Park earned an A.B. in biology and political science from Brown University and a M.B.A. from NYU Leonard N. Stern School of Business. She is a CFA and CAIA charter holder and is a member of the CFA Institute, CFA Society of San Francisco and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association. She is an advisory board member of A Home Away from Homelessness.
