Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association® (" CAIA
Association®"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using
the Website. By using the Website, you consent to our practices

The CAIA Association is committed to providing the premier charter for
alternative investment professionals. This commitment means that our
business will continue to evolve as we strive to offer improved
services and features through our Website. Because of this, from time
to time, our policies will be reviewed and may be revised. CAIA
Association reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any
time and notify you by posting an updated version of the Privacy Policy
on the Website. It is your responsibility to periodically check this
page so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use

Privacy Policy will apply between us whether or not we have given you

CAIA Association respects the importance of your privacy. You have a
right to make your own choices about how your personal information is

to us you are showing your trust, and we take that seriously. Unless
you consent otherwise, CAIA Association will only collect and use your

2. Collecting information about you.
Except as stated below, CAIA Association will not collect or monitor
any additional personal information about you without your consent:
· we collect information when you enter your personal information on
our site, for example when creating an account, enrolling in the
program or signing up to take qualification examinations either on the
Website or by mail/email;
· if you attempt to register for an exam on the site, we will collect
information concerning your consent to the Terms of Use agreement;
· if you register for an exam on the site, we may also collect
information on how you use the site in order to improve our website
services;
· if you contact us, we may keep a record of that contact; and/or collect information via cookies (see Section 3 below).
3. Our use of cookies.
Cookies are small data files that a website transfers to your
computer's hard disk for record keeping purposes. Most web browsers are

user ID. CAIA Association uses cookies to monitor site activity and

information with a service provider or a company affiliated with CAIA

· inform you of member benefits, including but not limited to upcoming events of interest and available discounts.
If you are receiving information about CAIA Association and do not wish
to receive this information any longer, you may remove your name from
our list by e-mailing us at privacy@caia.org and asking to be removed
from our mailing list. Please allow 14 days for this request to be
processed.
6. You can access the information we keep about you.
If at any time you want to know exactly what personal information we
hold about you, you are welcome to access your record by visiting the
Account Info section of the Website or by e-mailing us at
privacy@caia.org. Our file of your information will be made available
to you within 14 days.
7. Changing the information we have about you.
If at any time you wish to change personal information that is
inaccurate or out of date, please visit the Account Info section of the
Website or contact us by e-mailing us at privacy@caia.org and we will
amend this record.
8. Deleting the information we have about you or stopping any further advertising material.
If you wish to have your personal information deleted, please let us
know by e-mailing us at privacy@caia.org and we will take all
reasonable steps to delete it, except for that information we need to
keep for legal reasons.
9. Storage and security of your personal information.
At CAIA Association, we try to do everything reasonable to keep secure
any information which we hold about you, and to keep this information
accurate and up to date. The Association makes every attempt to
restrict your information to employees who have specific authorization.
We also continually endeavor to improve our security safeguards. Since
no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be totally
secure, we do not promise that the information you provide to us will
always be totally secure. CAIA Association disclaims any responsibility
for events arising from unauthorized access to your personal
information.
Please note also that CAIA Association or its service providers may use
overseas facilities to process or back up its information. As a result,
we may transfer to and store your personal information at our overseas
facilities. However, this does not change our commitment to safeguard
your privacy.
10. CAIA Association and links to other websites.
The Website provides links to other, outside websites. These linked
sites are not under our control, and therefore we cannot be held
responsible for their content or conduct. Before disclosing your
personal information on any other website, we advise you to examine the

11. Children's Online Privacy Protection.
The Website is directed at an adult market, and therefore is intended
