Director's Comments
The CAIA Association's commitment to global outreach continues as we look forward to a very busy fall schedule.
Building on the successful outreach efforts of the last 18 months, we
have been honored to receive invitations from AI professionals,
candidates and members, across the globe to connect with industry
groups and institutions. We're finding significant interest
from both established industry centers, such as Spain and the Cayman
Islands, as well as some of the fastest-growing emerging markets,
including Brazil and South Korea. We're pleased to see such interest
from these emerging markets, which provide an exciting opportunity to
grow the presence of both the AI industry and the CAIA Association in
tandem. Our sincerest thanks to the AIMA Cayman chapter for
their warm welcome.
This fall, we will be traveling for the first time to Australia and
anticipate with great excitement meeting our fellow AI professionals
down under. We've been honored to receive a high level of interest and
a great deal of support from the AIMA Australia chapter and we're
grateful to everyone who has contributed to this effort to make our
trip there a success. To find a CAIA Association event in your area,
please visit our website at http://www.caia.org/events/
for more information.
Finally, our best wishes are extended to all of those returning from
holiday, rejuvenated and refreshed. We wish everyone a
successful and productive fourth quarter.

The CAIA Association is pleased to announce that registration numbers for the September 2007 exam period exceeded 2400 for the first time in the organization's history. This marks a significant increase over our previous record of 1800 registrants.
The CAIA designation continues to attract candidates through word of
mouth and ongoing outreach activities and we fully expect that the
numbers will continue to grow as we move forward.
CAIA Association Thanks All Survey Respondents
