CAIA chapters began forming during 2005 in financial centers around the globe, furthering the opportunity for members to strengthen professional contacts, enhance industry knowledge, keep apprised of new AI developments, and provide a powerful voice in determining the future direction of the Association. In addition to the existing chapters, we plan to expand our network by establishing new chapters wherever growth and demand warrant.

Chapters meet periodically to discuss current industry developments (often outside speakers are invited to address the group), to promote awareness of the CAIA designation in their region, and to connect with fellow CAIA members and, on occasion, CAIA candidates. 
Each chapter is uniquely responsible for establishing its own organizational structures, mission statements, and meeting agendas. Funding for these and other special events is provided by the Association.

In addition to organizing annual educational presentations and receptions for CAIA members and candidates, the global chapters coordinate with the CAIA Association to organize presentations to local firms interested in learning about the CAIA program and Association.
