Florence Lombard is an inaugural member of the CAIA Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA), one of the two founding organizations of the CAIA Association.

Mrs. Lombard has been running AIMA since January 1993.  She was a Founding Member of the association created in September 1990 and was appointed to the Council of the Association in August 2002.

Mrs. Lombard oversees the development and implementation of projects in the areas of education, research, regulation and sound practices.  She has driven the development of the Association in Asia, which has lead to the creation of the Hong Kong/China, Australia, Japan and Singapore Chapters of AIMA.

She was an Observer and active participant of the EC Hedge Fund Expert Group (2006).
