The Role of Ethics in the CAIA Program and Association

The CAIA Association considers ethics to be an integral part of its program. With the CFA Institute's permission, the CAIA Association has adopted their Standards of Practice Handbook in our curriculum.  These comprehensive internationally recognized standards are universally relevant to all practicing financial professionals.

And while the CFA Institute maintains jurisdiction over its members, charterholders and candidates, the CAIA Association expects its members to know and abide by these same guidelines. Additionally, as an independent organization, the CAIA Association requires members to adhere to its own rules and regulations over and above the aforementioned standards.
